Winner of the 2026 Emily Dickinson Excellence in Jewelry Award, Port Warwick Art & Sculpture Festival.

This bead-embroidered collar is inspired by the textures and tones of the desert landscape. At its center is a natural Crazy Lace Agate stone, featuring a matrix of cream, brown, and ochre lines. The collar is hand-beaded with rows of teal, bronze, tan, and metallic glass seed beads that mimic wind-swept sand dunes and layered canyon walls.

Crazy Lace Agate is known as the "Laughter Stone" or "Happy Lace" for its promotion of optimism and joy. Mined primarily in Chihuahua, Mexico, this is 65–90 million-years old.
